Okay, so I classify this as a thick smoothie bowl! I don’t know whoever came up with “nice” cream for non-dairy ice cream made with frozen bananas, but I must say, having some on hand lends to some quick cravings and mine, aside from potato chips, is mint chocolate chip ice cream. If I had jimmies, I would have put those on top too!

Serves 1-2

INGREDIENTS:
3 frozen bananas
1/4 teaspoon spirulina
30-40 fresh mint leaves from the garden, about 4 large sprigs
1-2 tablespoons dairy free chocolate chips or your favorite chocolate chips

In a high-speed blender, add all ingredients except chocolate chips and blend until creamy using the tamper. Use a spatula to scoop into a bowl and stir in the chocolate chips or sprinkle on top.
